DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

“Dog Days of Summer” is a free clinic, where children from ages 4‐18 learn the skills needed to interact with dogs. Skills as basic as how to approach a dog, to complex activities such as handling a dog in competition, are taught by mentors. The morning is dedicate to teach these skills while the following afternoon is a relax competition were the children and their mentors compete.

This past year the Pennsylvania Game Commission participated by teaching a wildlife seminar that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. For the time being this event is solely to educate and start an interest in the next generation of our sport.
