Urban sprawl is continuing at a rapid pace, places to hunt and train pointing dogs are being lost daily. Our organization promotes conservation and wildlife management practices through our various planting programs. The Oak Ridge Pointing Dog Club is dedicated to training all breeds of pointing dogs to hunt and compete in sanctioned performance events.
Mission Statement
Oak Ridge members enjoy 400+ acres of fields, woods and ponds to train and exercise their pointing dogs. We offer training seminars for pointing dogs and their owners. Training takes place in groups sharing equipment,allowing multiple dogs to be worked together under the supervision of experienced handlers.
